Canada has seen the gradual increase in the percentage of working women 15 years and above between 1980 and 2016. The percentage has risen from slightly above 50 to slightly above 61. Norway has also seen this number rise from slightly above 55 percent in 1980 to slightly above 62 percent in 2016. One of the factors that have supported this increase is the continued education of more women. less women were getting easy and free access to education in 1980 while more would easily get educated in 2016. These educational advantages prepared and qualified them for the job market making it possible from employed women to increase as the number of educated women increased.

One technology-related stereotype against women is the notion that all inventors are men. Such a stereotype begins early in US classrooms as teachers will present students with inventors who are mainly male while overlooking inventions that were inspired by women. It means that as children grow, young girls question their ability to invent while boys view these girls to lack the capabilities to invent. It is why this stereotype remains rampant in the US society.

India too is characterized by the stereotyping of women when considering innovation. It is why technological training and education is promoted and highly encouraged in boys than girls (Centurelli & Wyckoff, 2017) . It means that women get limited chances in accessing pathways that would lead them towards becoming inventors while men are offered all the opportunities they need (Centurelli & Wyckoff, 2017) . It is also why such a community may not view women inventors in an equal manner as their male counterparts. In many instances, these women are believed to not possess the capabilities to invent by themselves. they are always assumed to have acquired the help of men at one point or the other while inventing.
