Michel-Guillaume Jean de Crevecoeur’s definition of an American begins from the point of realization that he is a new man (Sprachen) . This new man has a point of action based on new principles which means that he or she ought to entertain the newness of ideas and the formation of new opinions (Sprachen) . The love for the country for an American should be greater than that of the ancestors. The multicultural section is the assertion that Americans are pilgrims from the west that came with a mass of arts, science, vigor and industrialization. The definition by de Crevecoeur encompasses other races of the world beyond Europe.
America is settled by coming together of different people from Europe and other races; civilized by harmonizing the various arts, culture, and industry. De Crevecoeur asserts that religion has but a small demand. The view of religion has changed a lot because America has been shaped by such movements as the civil rights movement which were deeply religiously led. I agree with the definition of America given in part. The reason is that the Europeans largely build America, but there are many other races too.

The Great Law was intended to address the problem of war (Teacher Gazette) . The Law was designed to ensure that an agreement is reached upon its application. It was also designed to ensure practicality. The Mayflower Compact and Puritan Covenant with God aimed at ensuring that there is tying together of body, soul, and spirit. This is similar to the Great Law which links together for the purpose of settling matters in unity.
A non-stereotypic view of the Great Law is seen in section 79 where one-half of the Skanawatih has a war-chief title just like Congress. One aspect of Native Americans that was not known is the practicing elements of feudalism where there are Lords. The elements parallel to the Constitution include article 3 section 3 on treason which is parallel to section 92, and article 1 with section 79 of the Great Law. The Great Law has a body known as Skanawatih while the Constitution has Congress (Teacher Gazette) .
