The current society is discriminating with regards to sexual Identity. In today's society, the minority individuals’ sexual choices are limited and restricted by the community in a manner that seems to be limiting their freedom of decision making as granted by the constitution. The sexual minority group in the society find themselves at crossroad from the fact that they cannot make a decision freely like any other person. The sexual minority groups, in this case, are the lesbians, the gays, and those who are bisexual. These individuals lack the freedom that heterosexual individuals have to make their sexual decision. In a way, different research studies reveal that such restriction seems to have some negative effect on their sexual and reproductive life. As noted by Lyons et al., (2011), those who have multiple partners in the society, especially adolescents girls, are perceived negatively in the community. From these authors' perception, male individuals seem to have more freedom to make their sexual choices in the society than female counterpart.
The male individuals, for instance, are perceived as less harmful in the community when they have multiple sexual partners than female individuals. The authors noted that the ladies, for example, those who are beautiful, tend to have numerous sexual partners. However, their situations are generally different from men because society tends to reject them more than men in similar condition. In this case, the authors have noted that such rejections affect these individuals negatively. Riskind et al. (2014) amplifies this same situation. The authors researched gender identity and sexual health among adolescents to reveal that the sexual minority experience exposure to sexual risk than heterosexual individuals. From their study, they show that that sexual minority adolescent boys experience higher levels of sexual risks than do their heterosexual peers. The same results show that many sexual minority girls are also vulnerable to sexual and reproductive health risks. In this sense, therefore, it is correct to conclude that sexual Identity is a contributing factor to sexual health risk among adolescents in society.

Lyons et al. (2011) reveal from their research that society is giving men the freedom to make sexual choices than men. In this sense, they have noted that there is discrimination that women, mostly young girls, face concerning their multi-partner relationship. The constitution grants every-person the freedom to make a sexual choice, why is that when ladies make such choices, they tend to be seen differently as men?
Research by Riskind et al. (2014) reveals that bisexual people tend to face a lot of health risk. It happens so because society rejects their sexual choices and view them as immoral as heterosexual people. Do people understand the health impact the rejection expose such individual in their lives? Does society understand that such rejection hurts the sexual and reproductive growth and health among such people? There are a lot of questions people need to address regarding this matter. As a result, more research is needed to sensitive people on this issue to create an equitable society for all.
