A scholarly literature review surveys scholarly sources on a certain topic and gives an overview of present knowledge. It is important as it allows one to identify vital theories, methods, and missing gaps in research. For it to be successful, it calls for the involvement of researchers who have high expertise in the field. In the educational concept, applied research uses qualitative and quantitative methods of investigation and analyzing data to solve an issue to enhance educational outcomes usually related to a specific school. The scholarly review seeks to bring forth books, peer-reviewed articles concerning a certain topic for it to be scrutinized. It is then included in the applied research process for the final reporting for publishing to make improvements for an educational setting. Having deep knowledge and skill in an area of research will help in attaining the desired outcome of the scholarly literature.
There ought to be encouraging factors that will help my classmates enlightened to the process of writing a scholarly review (Fink,2016). One would be encouraging them to ask for help. Approaching the librarian at the university would guide them in getting a subscription to a journal they need. This would help them find a guide in the right direction when stuck. Also, I would encourage them to find relevant articles and explore them in-depth. Having a short but comprehensive list of articles would help them explore in great detail. Moreover, the use of the right keywords would help get the research papers they are looking for easily. Another idea is allowing them to follow the citations of the articles they find as it would guide them in getting to the relevant research in the specified field.

As I conclude the final semester of my bachelor's program, a bible verse that has always encouraged me for motivation and inspiration is, therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). This verse is a constant reminder to me that at the end of any struggle or obstacle, there is always a reward that comes along with it. Therefore, giving up is not a solution to success.
