Dear Euca,
Exactly two years ago, I planted you in the backyard of the house, and today I can confidently say that that was one of the best decisions that I have ever made in my life. When I look at you today, I am in awe of how fast you have grown. You look so healthy, standing tall, and flaunting your deeply pigmented leaves with no care in this world. It is your birthday Euca! Can you feel the excitement in me? I am writing this to let you know that I really appreciate you and I am wishing you a very happy birthday.
First of all, I am so proud of you, Euca, for having remained resilient even during the mini-drought period that we experienced at the beginning of the year. It was such a trying time for us because the water was not enough for you to drink. I lived in fear every day that you would give up and stop fighting. It was such a sad moment for me when it reached a point that I could not offer you something to drink. My heart would always sink when I saw your drooping leaves because that was an indication that you were thirsty. I am so sorry Euca. But at this point, I want to appreciate you for having held on throughout the entire period. Look at you now, you are very healthy and succulent. You make me so happy!
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Secondly, I want to appreciate your sweet, unique smell. Last week my friends came to visit and we came to sit next to you. Oh, the fragrance you exude is simply out of the world! None of us wanted to leave the spot and we ended up staying there deep into the night. You make me look good in front of my friends. In fact, most of them decided that they will plant a mini Euca at their yards. Are you excited that you will be having sisters and brothers? It is just sad that you will not be able to go meet them. However, I promise to take get their pictures and bring them to you.
Oh, and before I forget, I have a request Euca. I recently heard that your leaves are very good sources of aromatherapy and massage oil. Apparently, you are supposed to dry then crush them to release the oil. I have been looking for some sweet smelling massage oil but the natural ones are too expensive. Will it be okay with you if I pluck out some of your leaves and use them to make the oil myself? I promise that I will not take a lot of them and you will be just fine.
All in all, I want to thank you so much for being a part of this household. You complete our yard with your beauty and fragrance, and I cannot imagine having a yard without you there. I hope that you are happy to be here too! Do we treat you right? Is there anything that you would want us to change or improve? I promise that the entire household loves you, and we are willing to do all that it takes to keep you alive and comfortable for the longest time possible. Always remember that you are special to us.
Bye, Euca!
