My expectations for this trip were high. I had planned started planning for it a month before. All the documents, snacks, and clothes needed for the trip were ready a week before the departure date. Not only was I going to travel to one of my dream destinations but I was also excited about meeting high profile business people during the four-day trip. The culmination of it all was going to be a dinner on the last day in which a lot of stake holders and high profile individuals were expected to attend.

The worst thing happened when I landed in Dallas. The crew at Fort Worth airport could not trace my luggage. I had heard cases of people losing their luggage before and thought it would never affect me. After waiting for over six hours, I decided to proceed with normal business after getting a few clothes from a store. However, I did not manage to find a proper suit for the much awaited for dinner. Luckily, I happened to know the host speaker who let me borrow her suit for dinner. This was a kind gesture that left my heart melting.
