Employees continuously look for jobs that can meet their physical, emotional and financial needs meaning that would be employers must be keen to address such needs if they desire to achieve their objectives. This then means that the would-be employees must include in their job offers lucrative working terms, conditions as well as attractive incentives to net the right employees. According to Hink (2015), this happens to the right of increased competitiveness where organizations and companies try to retain competitive employees when faced with the probability of losing them to the employers. With this in mind, the employees, in turn, state their terms to only get the best rewarding jobs which will fulfill their needs. The scenario, in this case, illuminates this fact with Arlan trying to persuade Jane to leave her current employment in order to help him realize potential growth in his northern-side facility

Type of job offer that Jane should receive and why

Clean Car Care management should put significant consideration in the kind of offer that it should offer Jane considering her present employment status. According to Harter & Adkins (2015), employers must ensure that they offer the best packages to attract new employees. What this means is that Jane is already employed with a stable job with excellent benefits including a salary of $31,500, health insurance with no employee-copay premium a benefit that 3Cs does not offer its managers and the fact that she is due to receive a one-week vacation. This then means that 3Cs must offer Jane quite a lucrative package to draw her away from her current employer. More so her work schedule is flexible working through Monday to Friday and only working over the weekends occasionally. Further, she has excellent supervisory skills which she has gained from working in fast-food stores as well as in a light manufacturing plant. This then means that 3Cs must offer Jane quite a lucrative package to draw her away from her current employer as well as make her stay comfortable as she will need to make extra sacrifices she did not make in her previous employment. A low offer, in this case, would not help since as it is Jane is not at all desperate to get this job as she is employed on lucrative terms. Additionally, she is quite comfortable at her current job since her working terms are favorable as a single parent who needs time to take care of her family. Arlan, however, has the option of giving Jane a competitive offer to make the job offer more lucrative than her current job. The competitive offer in spite of being a better option may still not look welcoming though especially with Jane sacrificing her weekends to work something she was not doing constantly in her earlier job. This should, however, be done in the light of what Jane is going to bring to the table in terms of increasing the turnover at 3Cs seeing that the current managers have not been able to do so.

Other inducements beyond salary, health insurance, vacation, and hours scheduled that might be addressed in the job offer, and why

Companies are usually called upon to motivate employees especially if they are poaching them from other companies. According to Cadmus (2012), there are various inducements that such employees can be given to earn their loyalty. To make the offer more friendly 3Cs can offer some additional inducements to Jane. Considering that she lives 45 miles from her designated workplace means that she needs help in moving into a new and unfamiliar area. Such support could come in the form of helping her find a house that suits her needs. Additionally, 3Cs would offer her transport services to move her things from her current residence to a new one. More so to compensate for her troubles and loss of comfort and to top up on the competitive offer 3Cs can give her a one-time bonus which is advantageous to the company as it will act as a dragnet to ensure that she comes on board. Further, the company can help her by providing a list of the amenities such as health facilities, shopping malls, and schools to further ease her moving in into a new community.
