Why I Qualify for the Job
I believe I am the right candidate for this position because ever since high school, I wanted to have a profession in the legal environment. As a paralegal, I get the opportunity to actualize this dream, and this offers me the motivation that I need to perform to the best of my knowledge and skills as this is the job that I will cherish doing. My academic credentials provide me with the basic skills that are relevant for an entry level job and I intend to use my experience from this job to increase my legal skills. I am also available on a full-time basis as the job requires. My experience is working as a data entry assistant in a software company on a part-time basis for two years which involved the use of Microsoft Excel. I am a self-driven person who can work with little to no supervision.

How to Prepare for the Interview
Before attending a job interview, it is important to make preparations. First and foremost, knowing the company is a plus. There is the need to research the organization to know about its background and the industry perspectives and develop questions regarding the company as well as the job position (Corfield, 2009). The job description indicates that this is an entry-level job and so the employer is looking for someone with the basic paralegal skills. Employee reviews indicate that the company employs a combination of behavioral, resume-based as well as case questions interviews (Indeed, 2019) . It is therefore vital to prepare responses on these lines. I’ll carefully plan on what to wear to the interview bearing in mind the company culture. Neat and clean traditional business attire; a suit and professional shoes will do well. I'll carry copies of my resume and quality paper, a notepad, a pen, a list of references and work portfolio. I'll pay attention to non-verbal communications by arriving earlier, be mindful, show confidence, sitting up straight, respecting their space and manage my reactions to appear positive throughout the process. Finally, I’ll make follow up by asking questions to cover information that was not covered in the interview and is also not available on the company website.
