The central concept for the week was the reason for sustaining evidence-based coaching. Evidence-based coaching focuses on maintaining cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes that will assist an individual in attaining their goals. The thing that goes into my mind while reading the week's concept is how best one can have a plan that will include all the components of evidence-based coaching and efficiently achieve their goals. A coach is a person who facilitated the learning as they have the experience (Stobber and Grant, 2006). The concept gives me the idea of having shared knowledge between the facilitator and the learner. It thinks it will be more effective if the coaching was integrated with the needs of the learners. There are several approaches to coaching. However, the most effective coaching that comes to mind is having a reciprocating form of coaching. In a coaching technique, there is not a traditional approach. The strategy will make the students air their concerns and even give feedback. What comes to mind is how effective the coaching process will be if the students' ideas are included in the decision-making process. I suppose the view will be instrumental in improving the coachee personal growth and development.

The week s concept that I resonate with the most is having a coaching approach where there is a question and answer session instead of instructing the learners on what to do. The information connects with some of the classes that I have attended while in junior school. At the end of each lesson, the teacher spared some twenty minutes, where we as students had the opportunity to ask questions. At the end of each class, the session was interactive, and no problem was considered lame or foolish. Instead, the instructor answered all the questions. Some question was connected with what was taught in school, while others were even out of context. But the instructor responded to all items regardless of nature or pointed it was addressing. I resonate with the kind of approach as it gave me the confidence needed while in class and learning a new thing. In the informed practitioner model, the course's focus is to understand that they will apply their critical thinking (Stobber and Grant, 2006). I resonate with the model as it represents what my instructor was using at the junior level.

One of the ideas presented in the week's learning is that coaching is not like a medical procedure where someone has to follow a manual. Instead, coaching is having a better understanding of the learners and updating their information from time to time (Stobber and Grant, 2006). I will use the data while having my class sessions. Instead of following the class manual, I will try ad have an interactive session with the instructors. I will gain the most from the approach as I will be able to ask questions on some of my weak areas. However, I will not use the humanistic therapeutic approaches of coaching in my learning progress as there is a difference in the goal settings. Having one goal in the coaching process is the best alternative to gaining the most. The approach will create a differentiation in the situation and may appear challenging to me; thus, I prefer not to use the technique. As a coach, I am developing internally by gaining skills on how to approach my trainees. The focus will be on goal orientation of those people I will be coaching and engaging them in self-actualization.

9/15

The central concept for the week is a behavioral approach to coaching. In the direction, the focus is on how distinct humans are and how one can navigate through the situation (Stobber and Grant, 2006). The main idea that comes into mind while going through the week's content has a coaching approach that will accommodate all individuals' different behavior. Humans are complex and multifaceted, and the best way to navigate is to have a component that represents them in the coaching process. The main aim of coaching is to change behavior, and there are conditions necessary to serve the change as it is in the development pipeline. However, what comes to mind is a situation where the person is not willing to change. I think accountability will be the best element to make such people realize what they are losing from resisting the behavioral change. I suppose it will e effective for the person to learn all the internal and external factors that make them laggards towards the difference for themselves. A self-realization approach will make the change process effective as it will be out of their own will.

I mostly resonate with the concept of GAPS Grid. The idea of the grind is to identify the nature of the information that people need to gain enough insights and be motivated (Stobber and Grant, 2006). I resonate with the data as it makes someone lose the bigger picture of the purpose of the entire behavioral change process from coaching. The idea traces back to my group work, where there are objectives that we have to accomplish as a group. However, group work aims to come up with ideas that will earn us extra points. In the approach, the coach's focus is not just on the responses and feedback of the trainees but on the big picture of the whole training purpose. I resonate with the concept as it will be comfortable and practical to set goals and objectives specific and unique. The goal-setting approach is something that I have done in most cases, and most engagements and the main aim is to drive the process towards the main objective. From the approach, I consider the various success factors and feel motivated in achieving the overall goal.

Of crucial importance in the week's discussion is the coaching strategies. Partnership, commitment, persistence, skills, and environment are the five significant steps to a successful coaching process (Stobber and Grant, 2006). I will use the information to improve my coaching skills and approach. I will mainly focus on creating a collaboration with the students. From the union, the students will be able to open up on some of the areas that they need more help in the learning process. More so, I will use the information to capitalize on the skills of the trainees. The gifts will be essential because knowing each of the learners' capabilities and focusing more on their strengths will improve their weaknesses. One of the information that ii will not use is perspective and authority. Most students are not good at following rules, and reference is one thing that they might resist. However, that does not mean losing control of the training class. It only means having an interactive course that is integrated with a common understanding. The week's content was beneficial in improving my coaching technique, but they fail to recognize the different learning capabilities of students.

9/22

The focus of the week's learning was on cross-theory approaches that are integrated. The theory stipulates a need to set a plan for the achievement of goals (Stobber and Grant, 2006). What comes into mind while going through the week's concept is how best to improve the training environment's communication structure. Since we are going through the same coaching, we have a central goal other than the individual purposes that each person has on their level. I think of having a communication channel where the trainees will be free to air their concerns and contribute to the learning process. The communication channel will be a person's way of ensuring there are integration and orientation of the learning towards achieving specific goals. Also, what comes into mind is how best I can implement the self – regulatory approaches that both the facilitator and the learners can use to gauge and evaluate their level of success. It is from the strategy that it will be easy to measure everyone's level of success and realize some of the bottlenecks that need adjustments for the significant achievement of the end goals.

I resonate with the information on self – reflection. The idea presented in self-reflection is that it is possible to create self-awareness through coaching. I resonate with the data as it is one way of enhancing an individual's interpersonal skills. The concept is mostly applicable in the leadership position as the instructor. While I was a leader in one of the school projects, the interpersonal skill was crucial as it dictates how we will interact with each other. Focusing on individual skills means there will be a good connection and relationship with others. It is a situation of leading by example. My resonance with the information is to attribute the success of the coaching to all the coachee's contribution. The main focus is to make the learner realize that they each play a role in making the coaching process a success. In the long – run, the coaching process will be goal-oriented and solution-focused. It will be relevant and easy to highlight the weaknesses in achieving the goals personally and implement solutions on a group level. Resonating with the information is not just one of the ways of creating a solution. Instead, it is a way of creating a problem story as a coachee.

One of the week's learning information that I might use is the language the highlights exceptions. I will use the coaching information as I will know how best to communicate with the team without using colossal words on how bad I don't like being a coach. Using such words will send a different message to the learners, and they will lack the motivation to attain the set goals and objectives. A piece of critical information that I will not use is attiring to the existence of conflicting goals. I suppose they're in need to set and have plans which are unique and specific. It is forming such an approach that it will be possible to achieve the set objectives without contradictions. Having a hierarchy of the goal will be a key was of reducing the conflicting aims. I don't think it is good to have a conflict of interest as it will hider goal attainment. However, the information on fostering internal competition will be essential. The week's content is extraordinarily informative but fails to elaborate on implementing the behavior change theory.

9/29

The week's learning was oriented towards the art of executive coaching. The discussion was on the authentic, happy coaching approach that coachees can use to foster growth on the learners (Stobber and Grant, 2006). The information that I have in mind is the personal choice of an individual. I thing choice plays a huge role in ensuring there is success in coaching. One needs to decide which path to follow that makes them happy as they will be conducting the coaching out of passion. It is from the choice that one can top focus on the strengths other than the process's pain. Coaching is not an easy task as there are ups and downs, especially is the outcomes are not what was in anticipation. Thus, choosing to follow a happy path will be essential in fostering growth and ensuring the coaching process is a success. The week's content focuses on following a happy path in coaching but neglects on identifying some of the approaches that an individual can use to select a specific course, especially when in a dilemma.

I resonate with the idea of emotions being a key concept in the coaching process. While leading a group project in school, I realize that our actions, behaviors, and words predominantly affect others' emotions. It is from such an experience that resonates with the idea of having to consider others' feelings before taking action. It is not easy to cope with fear, stress, and anger in a learning environment as it will interfere with the learning progress and the achievement of the set goals. Thus, I suppose coaches should endure all the resources from personal resources to intellectual resources to ensure positive emotions during the coaching process. With positive feelings, it will be easy to enhance cognitive flexibility and improve the teaching's accuracy. My resonance with the information is towards increasing the learners' level of concentration as they need not be emotionally disrupted. Just as it was in my school group project, there will be an increase in the performance level with fewer critiques and acknowledging that others will react to what we say and how we behave.

One of the information that I will use is on the royal roads to happiness. The report will assist in monitoring the well-being of others (Stobber and Grant, 2006). It is not possible to be happy in an environment where other people are angry or sad. Thus, the direct approach of the information is to make sure that we care about those surrounding us and not just those who are close to us. One statement that I will not use is on coaching implications. People believe that the environment which surrounds us is what makes us happy. The climate indeed has external factors that contribute to our happiness buy. I firmly believe in happiness from within an individual. While coaching, I aim to ensure that most people have a reason for being happy and taking part in the coaching process without attributing the environment. It will be making more sense as the learners will be able to reflect on some of the reasons, they think coaching is helping them or will help them in the future.
