An example from the book is evidenced through the actions of the author, integrity is well expressed by the manner he held back his concerns and feelings for his parents’ sake, something that enabled him avoid quitting the game beforehand. The author handles his mother in a manner suggesting he is concerned about the welfare of his background. For example, Gregor refused to open the door for his sister because he had adapted the behavior of locking all doors even when he was safe at home ( Kafka, 2013)
