Also in understanding the theory of the film, it is easier to come to terms with its genre which so as to enrich the initial guess you had with the film. This course has contributed greatly to my understanding of how the film industry works. Initially, I could not tell what the aim of the director was in a given film. However, it has come to my realization that by analyzing a movie, one comes to terms with the fact that movies are meant to communicate with society. The communication entails emancipation and pointing out important issues in society.
