Discussion 

Becoming a new a parent is an all inclusive achievement that is typically arrived at different ages and levels of development, significantly affected by an individual's way of life as well as respective circumstances ( Romero, 1990 ). I therefore became a parent to my initial child when I was 28 years old. This achievement enormously affected me intellectually, physically and mentally. I felt love and an awareness of other's expectations tremendously. Notably, this made some oblivious issues and emotions emerge within me. 

My psychological well-being disintegrated, and I experienced post-natal sadness. My partner was home with us for only twenty four hours of the week, because of working so far, I felt so alone in my struggles. I was tried physically and emotionally in a manner I had not experienced. Because of this, my daughter would consistently cry consistently, with insignificant breaks. Life started to get better after I recognized the magnitude of the issue and looked for assistance. We constantly moved with the goal that my partner could get back home each night. I researched rest plans for infants and in the long run got him into an everyday practice and dozing more during the evenings.

Erikson held the notion that all people ought to be able to resolve or overcome various challenges that each particular stage that life presents. He also held the view that the respective experienced crises are inclined to have psychologically opposing results. Furthermore, Peterson (2013) also holds that, maintaining a healthy balance between the two circumstances tends to be critical for complete success during each level. I was then still a young adult in the 6th phase of Erikson's formative hypothesis, viz, isolation versus intimacy when I became a mother.
