This article analyzes various psychological health research cnducted in the U.S as part of psychological support to vetarns of the combat from the Iraqi and Afghanistan war and their families. The review focusses on issues such as resilience factors on mental health, the biomakers of PSTD, decompression, combat and possible suicide, as well as the usefulness of psychotherapy in treating PSTD and reducing millitary suicide. This study aligns to the topic because it investigates the reelevance of psychological counselling to veteran millitary officer's menatl health.

Grimell, (2019) acknolwedges that the transition frommactive millitary life to civilian life poses numerous challenges to service people and their loved ones. From a pastoral psychologist perseceptive, the article acknowledges that the ambiguity of transition back to civil life can be a potentiially complex amd acute limbo situation. The article reccommends that both vetarans and their loved ones can assist pastors in providing the care and counselling needed as they transition to civillian life.

This focusses on the types and the effecfiveness of preexistng mental diorder among various millitary personnel who had been subjected to mental health services during the Iraqi war. The findings of this study established that a significant portion of American military who had received mental health care services possessed prexitng health conditions. The dicussion of the study ceners on whether a mmore robust time-based algorithm is required to determine deployability, and during end of their term as they transition to veterans.

This is a country article describing the state of mental health among Iraqi and Afghanistan troops in North Carolina, as well as the rest of the United States. The paper acknowledges that more than 1.9 million Iraqi and Afghanistan veterans suffer mental health incidence and prevalence. In line with the topic of discussion, the paper recommends keen psychological to the Veteran community, with significant enhancement and expansion being among its top priorities

Zalaquett & Chatters, (2016) acknowledges that even though most veteran millitary officers settle and do well after transitioning to civilian lives, a significant number of them suffer mental health issues. Such issues demand psychological support since their adjustment problems can lead to finacial problems. This study is in line with thr topic of concern in that it emphaszes the importance of psychologial support to veteran miliatry service people.
