Cornfield (2015) in Beyond the Beat identified the rise of three fresh types of artist-activists or musicians that take a more active duty in shaping their careers and communities. The entrepreneurial artists are both careers focused and at the same time entrepreneurs. They combine music with a social mission of building a community to maintain the social spaces. The music activists are charged with remarking unionism for music and arts. The different types of activists not only work to develop their careers but also help and support each other. In turn, that has enabled the creation of an inclusive peer community and has strengthened the broader network of musicians, and further bolstered the very fiber of Nashville and its music scenery.

Nashville has become a hub for rock, pop, Americana, classical, contemporary, blues, jazz and soul music. It has become the best music scene and continues across different points in the world. Several critical musical personalities, for instance, Justin Timberlake, the Black Keys, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Jack White among others have chosen to call Nashville home.

Nashville is home to the United States most significant volume producing vinyl record plant known as United Record Pressing. The recording plant has maintained its recording relevancy since its inception and recorded for some musicians.

Cornfield (2015) confirmed that for the Nashville musicians, art trade unionism remains to bolster the economic foundation of making music with large organizations for instance symphony orchestras and major labels. With the introduction of the Indie entrepreneurial musicians, the art trade unionism progressively addresses the wants of self-promoting; travelling, entrepreneurial musicians that have their livelihoods rely on club performances and some level of intellectual property protections. Trade unions remain vital in supporting the well-being of the critical mass of musicians for sustaining productive, creative and vibrant of the musical scenery. That further makes Nashville music to continue dominating the industry endlessly.

The artistic, social entrepreneurs for the past few decades have risen to develop communal social spaces that resourceful in growing community of enterprising artists in Nashville. The social spaces have continued to encourage artist’s professional advancement and collegiality and provide job referral and opportunities for networking of the artists (Cornfield, 2015). Nashville has expanded its scope from primarily being an artistic premise to a wide range of opportunities for instance clothing, Nashville Blue band café among other opportunities.

Driven fundamentally by compassion for others, the social entrepreneurs often create social enterprises in which there is a significant institutional void by market-based ways of solving problems. The social for any artistic entrepreneur is to design and ensure sustenance of an artistic community and further offer professional advancement for all artists in every career stage.

Kosser (2006) mentioned that live music could be heard each day and night of the weeks at Nashville. The world is most known as honky-tonks that located on Broadway offer live music free each day a year. There are several music venues around town that range from huge arenas and concert halls to smaller clubs. They feature almost every genre of music. That further explains why that is the city and music call it home. Nashville and its connection to music are unequalled and its consistency and reputation as the city have been proved for approximately two hundred years.

Kosser (2006) reiterated that the Nashville vibrant community of artists is sustained by a city, which both produces and consumes diversifying genres of art. The genre diversification leads not only from thoughtful economic advancement but also from the public policies that harness Nashville living tolerance legacy that aims at inspiring creativity.

Nashville has become not only a music city and an Athens of the south but also a welcoming city. A city that adequately trained freedom riders in non-violence during lunch hour sit-ins. Despite the pocket of resistance to social media that still ensue, Nashville lasts to settle migrants from across the nation and globe. Currently, families speak precisely over one hundred languages that children attend Nashville public institutions (Cornfield, 2015). That is stimulated by an urban culture of rising tolerance, cooperate investment in the music infrastructure and the rising musician wages. A team of diverse musicians continue to stream Nashville and thus replenish and grow the pool of world-class musical talent in music city.
