Rain is yet another cause of the landslide. Sloppy areas become saturated by rain which without the aid of a mechanical root support, soil gets loosened up by the heavy rain which can only run off.

Natural disasters are said to claim more lives than technological disasters do because natural disaster appears in massive destruction and in an uncontrollable way for human intervention. Technological disasters do not cause as much damage as natural disorders due to the ability for the human intelligence to control the disaster that has been created.

Yes, I would want everyone to evacuate from the disaster scene. This reason is that it prevents another sequence of occurrence of such a disaster. Evacuation is a preventive measure that is used in the prevention of further damage of a catastrophe that has already occurred or rather a prevention of future damage by subsequent natural disasters.
