The Nebraska Early Learning Guideline are set of guidelines used to help children who are aged between 3-5 years. Besides the children, the system also helps the teachers and parents by offering them information on how to support the development of their children ( Breed et al. (2013) . The use of Nebraska Learning guideline is considered optional to parents and children. 

Describe the history of Early Learning Guidelines 

The Early Learning Guidelines were introduced to help understand children in different dimension resulting in growth and development. Historically, the guidelines were used to guide parents and teachers on how to manage different behaviors of the children. The guidelines also help teachers on learning and enhancing their skills. With the help of the Early Learning Guidelines, individuals can be able to respond to different reactions and experiences from the children (Ryoo et al., 2014).

What they are and how they are used? 

Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines are used to display the features learned from the young children based on their development. Other than that, the guidelines also offer strategies to parents on what is to be done, to provide an active environment to the children. Through the seven domains, parents and teachers can monitor children behavior, which ends up helping in their growth ( Breed et al. (2013)

Give a summary of the 7 Developmental Domains 

Social and Emotional Development is among the seven developmental domains found in the Early Learning Guidelines. The Social and Emotional Development domain helps children to develop both emotionally and physically. Through their developmental features, children can explore the new environment by getting to know other people. In a new environment, children get to socialize with other children and adults ( Breed et al. (2013) . Approaches to learning are the second developmental domain, which ensures that children get to learn through their experiences. Additionally, their curiosity also contributes to their development. 

Health and Physical development domain comprise of both outdoor and indoor events that offer a new experience to children. Physical activities can also help in the development of children since they get to explore new things and people. The domain of language and literacy development helps in improving different skills such as talking, listening and reading. Through the skills, children can communicate and interact with other individuals freely (Flores, Curby, Coleman & Melo, 2016). The skills are considered to help in the development of children, especially in the literacy section. 

The developmental domain of Mathematics helps kids to develop counting skills by understanding the different concept of number. Through the domain of Science, children can end up using their senses to explore and observe things and people that are around them. The domain of Creative arts encourages children to acquire ideas on how to express their feelings on activities such as music and dramatic play. 

How would a teacher use the guidelines? How would they use them in the assessment of young children? 

Through the help of the guidelines, teachers can learn new abilities and skills from children, which help in their development. The guidelines will help teachers’ asses the different behaviors of the children by getting to correct and guiding their actions and activities. 

How would you explain the Early Learning Guidelines to families? Why should families know about early learning guidelines? 

The Early Learning Guidelines are essential to families since they offer information on how to deal with children aged 3 to 5 years old. The guidelines help parents in identifying the different skills and abilities portrayed by their children, which in return help in their growth ( Breed et al. (2013) . Additionally, the seven developmental domain also helps parents to train and guide children on their talents and capabilities. 

Then how does a quality preschool environment integrate the guidelines? How do the environment and the guidelines work together? What is the benefit of having a quality environment and using Early Learning Guidelines? 

A quality preschool ensures that the school system integrates the Early Learning Guidelines, by supervising the children and teachers on how they associate with each other. A quality environment can be achieved through efficiently administering the Early Learning Guidelines ( Breed et al. (2013) . School systems should ensure that their systems support the guidelines that help teachers to analyze children skills that contribute to their development.

The Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines help parents and teachers in monitoring different features in children, resulting in their development and growth. The needs for the various learning domains must be addressed and satisfied if the concept of successful knowledge dispensation is to be achieved. Lastly, all stakeholders must do their best to ensure that children get the required and essential skills as they age.
