Question 3

Oakes next of Kin is a lady named Macy. Thumps and Leon Ranger recognize the name because they had previously interacted with her (King, 2020). They feel that she should have given them more information regarding Oakes, but they seem to have disregarded the move on their part. This is the reason why they keep on being haunted by mistake because she would have helped them build a better case for Oakes without technical errors.

Question4

Deer Ridge is a significant clue though it would take time for detectives to understand the particular one they are dealing with. If only one Deer Ridge has a medium-minimum prison, it would serve as a perfect clue. However, if other Deer Ridges had medium-security prisons, it would take time for detectives to unearth the mysteries.

Question

Obsidian placed on a victim's mouth symbolizes that the killer has stopped committing more murders. However, the serial killer can still assume that it is being used as bait to capture him. As a result of the serial killer, obsidian placed on a victim’s mouth offers mixed reactions. As a result, it does not indicate that the serial killer cannot commit more murders.

Question 6

Nina Maslow was killed by Raymond Oakes, the same serial killer who murdered Tripp and her daughter. Her notes led Thumps to think that the same serial killer characteristics held in Maslow's notes offered an illusion to the Tripp and daughter murder (King, 2020). However, this was confirmed when Thump drove to Oregon and found that Oakes had previously been held in the facility on allegations of homicide.

Question 7

The serial killer who killed Anna Trip and her daughter seemed technical enough. Additionally, his killing approach lures the police to think more about suicide rather than actual murder (King, 2020). It was due to this fact that the serial killer was disposing of bodies on the Northern California Coastline. By doing so, he believed that the police would not have enough evidence to prove in court that he murdered the victims.

Question 8

The questions posed by Roxanne and other women will definitely provide Thumps with a new direction in hic to pursue the investigation. This is because he will focus on the mills that the serial killer often takes and the kind of women he admires. This would probably give him a new link or even a reason to continue pursuing Oakes.

Question 9

Claire's son Stanley is in New Zealand. He figures in this narrative because Thumps thinks that he is Oakes's own son, and thus the two had found a way to protect him.
