I would like to participate in the Public Health Administration program because I want to serve the public. The program will equip me with the relevant knowledge and skills needed for public service through the interdisciplinary learning experience offered by the program. Moreover, through the program, I will build my sense of social/global responsibility, which might help me find solutions to day-to-day problems that affect the public. At the end of the program, I will have gained necessary skills which would help me in future to coordinate social service programs and community health programs, which are geared towards improving the livelihoods of the people. I also want to be proactive in managing community resources to prevent misappropriation or misuse of the resources.
I also want to gain a better understanding of the government procedures, in terms of management, policy, and departments and how they work together to serve the public. Through the Public Administration program, I will be able to gain insights into governance and implementation of government policies. With a better understanding of governance, I will be able to execute my duties working in public entities easily. I would like to understand how government departments work to be able to collaborate with various professionals within the civil/public service departments in a bid to promote community development and public sensitization through community organizations and development programs. More so, I want to gain negotiation skills, which I might apply in my career to enhance corporation between the government and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as a move to make the lives of members of the public better.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
I want to be able to use what I learn and be able to use your program to advance my career. Moreover, I want to apply the knowledge and skills I will gain from the program in problem-solving. With relevant knowledge on Public Administration, I will be able to work as a public guardian or conservator to help vulnerable members of the public in making informed decisions. I will also be able to use the management skills I learn from your program in my career as a public service administrator to effectively run and manage social service programs as well as organizations meant for community development. In the next few years, I see myself as a competent and sort-after public servant who has adequate skills required to solve problematic issues within the community.
I volunteered for a few weeks during a summer program to teach at an elementary school. I was also the events coordinator for veterans to help them succeed at their goals so that they can live better lives. At elementary school, I nurtured pupils’ talents through mentorship programs designed to develop children’s creativity in art. While working as the events coordinator for veterans, I organized several events meant to promote social connectedness among retired military veterans. The events were also meant to provide counseling for veterans with posttraumatic disorders (PTSD) resulting from their exposure to combat, non-honorable discharge from the service, and low social connectedness. I also coordinated mental health events for veterans to help them transit from military life to civilian life. Through these volunteer programs, I gained experience, communication skills, and interpersonal skills, which might help me in my career to relate well with the public.
