In a research conducted by the professionals in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Shanghai First Maternity Hospital, I learnt that prenatal developments involve a series of activities that are aimed at examining and stabilizing the biological activities of the infant that significantly influences his or her future behaviors (Wang et al., 2015). However, the focus of prenatal development is majorly on the temperance which has proven to control and dictate the neurodevelopment of infants. The temperament is believed to exhibit a connection to the mother of the fetus. Temperance influences the development of the infant regarding the relationship with people around and the immediate environment. I have also been able to learn the different types of temperament; the delicate, slow and easy types together with their impacts in real life situations (Shaffer & Kipp, 2010). Tactile simulations are also of the essence to both the mother and the fetus especially in control of emotions of the mother and feelings of the fetus.
Scientific developmental psychology is concerned with changes and alterations that take place within the lifespan of a human being. However, much of the development is dictated at the formative stages of an individual (Baltes & Nesselroade, 2014). Among the things that developmental psychology aids in understanding are the ability to solve problems by an individual, identifying and distinction of information, proper knowledge and acquiring of language, and understanding of concepts. The skills and abilities to help me in improving the use of scholarly resources especially those related to prenatal development in fetus include critical analysis of both the mother and the infant regarding their attachment information. This will be supported by increased research and tests to establish the scientific facts to aid in making concrete conclusions.
