The research explores the difficulties exhibited in psychosocial adjustment in an individual with developmental language disorder during childhood. The description of the impact of the developmental language Adjustment in academics along with vocational and social aptitude tend to exhibit difficulties in individuals with a developmental language disorder. However, the disorder is indicated to have an impact on the development of autistic symptomatology which raises the big question of the relationship between developmental language disorder with autism spectrum disorder (Whitehouse et al., 2009). Language impairment may exhibit different outcomes depending on the type of impairment (Whitehouse et al., 2009).
