The consequences of smoking include diseases such as lung cancer, cardiac complication, and stroke. Further, smoking is an expensive lifestyle which reduces the income of the user. Smoking causes birth complication such as delivery of abnormal children. Many addicts spend months in rehabilitation centers, but they do not recover. The government should develop programs to discourage smoking at an early age to reduce the number of smokers and addiction rates.
