Stephanie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from San Francisco Art Institute and a master's degree from Stanford University. She’s an associate professor of sculpture at California, Berkeley, live and works in Auckland. Some of her notable works include curation, production, and image creation, which have won various awards. She presents three projects, some of which are a work in progress. In the presentation archive Archive=FAIL, she presents an "added value" project, which involved using low-cost materials to produce a functional radical organization of books to benefit the public who want to view and purchase (WexArts, 2020).The installation is commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The installation in a social way enables the reorganization of Knowledge, which gives life to the often perceived dead archives. The artistic reorganization of Knowledge within the library enabled sales of about $20000 from resources considered irrelevant or outdated.

The second, Block Out, the Sun delves into photography inspired by the presentation of photography of minority ethnicities, e.g., the Filipino is the mainstream art. The 1904 photograph she presents reveals that the women captured in the photo were brought to the St. Louis Sports Fair, where they were supposed to perform for the public to view when the Philippines was a colony of the U.S. She uses the photo to appeal to the history of St. Louis. She focuses on how images are being shared and the relative ease of sharing in recent times due to technological advances. It is revealed how image rights have been so dynamic that some websites like alami stock photos sell them in different formats and resolutions with cost implications. Dorge and Burn present images or assorted items, pictures, and three-dimensional objects that speak to the history and the contemporary world at the same time. She identifies the challenge of lighting in archive photography but sees an opportunity to exploit resources available in digital databases.
