Technology is not neutral as it depends on human action. It wholly relies on human intentionality without which it is passive. However, considering its various aspects, especially its damaging impact on society and human health, its speed of revolution on the money markets, its small view and restive window on universal issues, in addition to its military functionalities, it is rendered entirely non-neutral ( Singer, 2018) . Technologies come with its impacts irrespective of its application, and it has both positive and negative effects.

Over the years, artificial intelligence has shaped the way work is undertaken in the office. It has altered human activity, digitalization, and significantly reduced the rate of errors. Image recognition has dramatically increased security features in banks and intelligence agencies. Manufacturing and production have improved in great lengths, while many systems such as speech recognition systems have enhanced human performances ( Singer, 2018) . As AI continues developing, more robots and machines continue taking up most human engagement at the workplace, reducing reliance on human effort and improving accuracy. However, this is slowly putting a large number of people out of work.

As AI continues taking up much of human activity and involvement at the workplace, the nagging question among many is how to fit within the digital feature. They include worries such as how to develop the right skills or how to use smart machines. More and more people are faced with redundancy functions at the workplace as devices continue getting faster and better at their functionality ( Singer, 2018) . These risks are gradually forcing many to lose their natural-born skills due to redundancy. AI is doing more, solving complex challenges, and getting work done correctly. Companies are getting more effective and productive, increasing the level of competence and competition in the global markets.

AI is gradually transforming the work ethics and hiring process. Various companies no longer rely on the traditional human resource process of managing employee but are digitizing their operations, leaving most of the work to computers and AI in whole. On communication, AI is the backbone of modern-day engagement and relay of information. Many departments, roles, and functionalities have been rendered useless with the continued reliance on AI. On customer service, sales, and marketing, AI offers the necessary support enhancing efficiency and result. However, these come at the backdrop of high maintenance and acquisition costs, and replication of humans.
