Goals and objectives are best met through the convergence of efforts from various individuals who play a vital role in the process. This is thus defined as teamwork, which involves the convergent of efforts towards a common goal. Contexts in which collaboration is significant to include corporate sector, athletics and academics institutions and hence the emphasis on team engagement and involvement, which fosters productivity ( Talman, 2018) . Practical teamwork involves incorporation of factors ranging from interpersonal communication to coordination and cooperation. Consequently, team roles vary according to the purpose and objective of the teams. Nevertheless, common roles include the controller, implementer, and the individual referred to as the completer. While the shaper molds the team through the application of appropriate leadership styles and attitudes, the implementer ensures that team members fully comply and accomplish their tasks ( Talman, 2018) . The completer, on the other hand, evaluates the completed tasks to ensure they are high quality as they are attentive to detail and hence the ability to identify errors in assignments.

According to the personality tests, I have the ESFJ personality type and therefore, a warm character. In a team, I add value as I remain factual and realistic though personal and energetic. Similarly, I view the world from an optimistic lens and in turn, promote cohesion within the groups while consequently encouraging diligence and accuracy. Furthermore, according to this personality type, I can adopt a team role of coordinator or team leader. In conclusion, teamwork is crucial for the achievement of common goals and objectives and should thus be encouraged in all organizational or institutional settings. Additionally, the ESFJ personality type allows for compassion and kindness as well as team-building, which is a significant role in a team.
