Qn 1
The communication situation presented is that which involves a foreign tourist and an attendant at a local restaurant. While the two were conversing, they experienced various challenges that were majorly contributed by language barrier. The tourist was interested in seeking guidance on one of the best traditional meals that could match their dietary schedule for the day. However, it was almost impossible for the two people to come to an agreement because of miscommunication.
Qn 2
The major problem that I found concerning audience analysis is that the language barrier that occurred between the two people in communication made it challenging to gather and interpret information about the audience. I was, therefore, unable to adopt a speech that will give a revelation of the attitudes, beliefs and the interests of the audience. An important point to note is that it was a hard task to identify the language and religion of the audience because there was no clear mood of communication between them. Therefore, it is considered as a challenge because it will inhibit the successful creation of the profile of the audience.

Qn 3
Active listening is one of the approaches that can be used to improve the effectiveness of communication. The approach will make it easy to have a clue about the interest and beliefs of the respondents. Such an approach will make it easy to communicate without any sign of misunderstanding. The next approach embraced in chapter four is getting to know the interests of the audience. The concept will limit the occurrence of conflict of interest and bias that may occur during communication. In simple terms, the two approaches will enable me to consider the side of view of the audience and respond to them after they are done expressing their views.
