The Tub by Edgar Degas

In the painting of The Tub by Edgar Degas, adopt formal quality by using a two-dimensional with sharp angles painting. He made the art to come out correctly by positioning himself in the position where everything was right.

The powdered pigment of dry stick alongside the medium made a significant contribution to the appearance of the painting. Just as the way a person would use chalk, the same way the painter uses sticks and drives them on the paper. However, the woman in the bathtub was viewed in three dimensions thus confusing the viewer.

The social issue addressed in the painting of The Tub is that of the modernist interest as it depicts a picture of a nude woman making it appear erotic.

Vision after the Sermon by Paul Gauguin

The painting of Vision After the Sermon by Paul Gauguin, the artist widens the message by focusing the attention through left optical realism. Everything in the painting has been twisted to portray emphasis on the innocent faith of a woman.

The reason why Paul Gauguin moved to Pont-Aven since he was to be a central figure in a school.

The artist rejects realism and impression by failing to unify the picture with the horizon. The painting is abstracted rather than being a pattern.
