While human interactions with technology influence creativity through assistance to change data into information, the environment and a person’s nurturing also plays a significant role in creativity. Often, parents dictate the behavior of their children, determining who they interact with, what they do, and how they go about their daily activities. The parents’ influence in a child’s upbringing have far-reaching impacts on the cognitive and social characteristics of the individual in adulthood ( Jankowska & Karwowski, 2019). I think my parents contributed to my decline in creativity since most of the time, they insisted that I needed to concentrate on school coursework. I rarely had free time to think and activate my senses leading to lower critical thinking ability. I thought school coursework was the most significant aspect of life, as my parents insisted, and rarely concentrated on extra-curriculum activities.
When I was in middle school, our neighborhood had few children, most of whom were not my age mates. I had few people to interact with after school, which contributed to my personality being an introvert. I always desired to join the art and design club at schools and pursue in arts and music. Most of the children we learned with in the same class had support from parents. After school, some would attend even music classes.

If my parents encouraged me to join the art and design club, I might have developed into a world renowned musician and instrumentalist. I used create trivial painted drawings, but if my passion for the art had been supported, I would be in a position to use different art software to produce images that portray in-depth information to the World. Encouragement leads to fostering a child's mental growth leading to more creativity (Chaudron, et.al, 2015) . Encouraging children's creativity assures them that what they do is right.
