Technology has revolutionised people’s perspective of the world. Through technology, numerous tools and resources have made life better, more comfortable, and enjoyable. The most important impact of technological advancement is enhanced communication. The introduction of the smartphone and the internet has benefitted the world significantly, today people enjoy having their most useful information at the palm of their hands (Boase, 2008). Consequently, communication has been made better and increased interaction in the society Deb (2014). The community has been made more active and more live as people share information on the media and create groups for socialization.
Another area that has benefited from technology is the education sector. The education system is undergoing numerous changes regarding how information is disseminating, availed and how people learn (Sutton 2013). Today a lot of useful and educative information is found on the internet where learners can access them with any device. Today learners do not have to carry dictionaries and encyclopedia as everything is available on their mobile phones. Additionally, instruction models have changed (Bennett, & Maton, 2010). Today the teacher does not have to depend on chalk and blackboards only. There are computers and projectors, which can facilitate a whole lesson. There is also the introduction of online courses where people do not have to go to class anymore.

Part B
Technology has had both constructive and undesirable impact on social isolation. To some extent, technology has encouraged more separation as people prefer to be on the internet rather than talking to people face to face (Corcoran, 2012). On the other hand, technology has also discouraged isolation since the social platform of the media encourage people to talk more and interact more as they share their views on important topics on the internet. Concerning culture, technology has encouraged diffusion of culture as more people favour westernisation. People tend to adopt a lifestyle that is trending on the media rather than promoting their own.
