Viewing the world through an artistic eye also enables one to filter out the bad side of the world and get to appreciate the beauty that it comes with. This can be applied to whatever situation however ugly it might be. For this assignment, I observed by fellow students in class while lectures were going on.

On looking at the entire class setting, you would see all students quiet and listening to the professor. However, from an artistic look, I could tell that only a section of the students was attentive and was actually getting something from the lecture (Through the Eyes of an Artist | Northeast Journal). Despite the silence, I could tell that some students were bored by the lecture and only wished it could end soon, while other listened attentively and even made notes for the lesson. Another section of students seemed to enjoy the lecture but I could tell that they were not getting anything. This lot only attended the lecture to mark the register and enjoy the company of their friends but not that they were here to learn (Lawrence, 1943). All this, an ordinary look at the class setting would deceive one that all the students were here for the purpose of learning and that they were paying attention to every detail.

In conclusion, viewing the world through an artist's eye entails reading through activities. For instance, when people are together, an artist is able to separate the differences in their activities and make conclusions from them. Thereafter, he can express what he sees through his work. Therefore, an artist goes beyond just seeing ordinary objects but also what is in their minds and how they fit in the world just like pieces of a puzzle.
