Globalization of Eating Disorders
Research Question
Does culture play a role in eating disorders around the world?
Thesis Statement
Culture has played a significant role in contributing to the eating disorders around the world through various mass media platforms where people can emulate what others are doing.
Overview
Through various media platfroms there should be sensitization regarding healthy eating habits to help people avoid or reduce disorders associated with the lifestyle. I would like to see a societry where people focus on showing healthy eating habits to the world through mass media instead of a bad life style that will lead to health concerns. My intended audience will be the young people who are active on various social media plartforms and emulating various cultures across the world. Several young people do certain things because they want to keep up with what others post on their plartforms. For instance eating out is considered classy and trendy compared to making healthy meals at home. I would like to see them change their habits by eating healthy instead of eating food in various eateries to be seen on their social media plartforms. My intended audience would argue that they are embracing cultures across the wolrd and they want to keep up with the chanaging trends and not left out. But my view point is correct because health comes first and trends and fame fade away. I will argue out my point through various examples of the consequences of bad eating habits, i will use statistics from various databases to depict the numbers and people suffering from lifestyle diseases. My argument matter to the audience because good health choices lead to healthy life style and long life.
