The Christian faith does not appear to fit into the contemporary two-party system. Christians are supposed to take part in politics and governance to demonstrate love for their neighbors and society. Christians can register under a political party and take part in active politics (Keller, 2018). However, the Christian faith (as a whole) cannot be associated with a political movement. It gives a strong impression that believers must not only believe in Jesus but also conform to the ideals of a particular political outfit. Aside from this, most political ideologies are not the product of scripture but rather the product of practical wisdom.
Methods and Technique
Numerous studies have been conducted to assess the relationship between religion and politics. One such approach that has been used to look at the association of these two variables is content analysis, which typically refers to the technique of gathering and synthesizing information from secondary sources (Daniel, 2009). This approach is appropriate because it is comprehensive, and it uses credible data from previous studies. Another critical approach in the study of faith and politics is experimental methods (Djupe, & Smith, 2019). In such research, the researchers make changes in one variable in order to determine changes in the other variable. Such studies are appropriate because they offer accurate and help to offer comprehensive inferences on a topic.

Contribution of Research
Research on different aspects of political science can be used to generate additional knowledge that can be added to the existing body of knowledge. There are several research areas that researchers can focus on to underwrite the current body of knowledge. One such area is cultural perspectives and their impact on politics. Globalization has resulted in diversity that has impacted the political landscape. Another area of interest is economic development and its impact on politics. This will look at how the different economic principles and concepts affect politics. Focusing on such areas will help offer greater insight into the different areas within political science.
