One element of the song is that it has a changing rhythm. It is divided into three rhythm patterns. The aim of the changes is to show the freedom in song composition. Another element is a peaceful and calm tone. Someone in crisis can use the song to relax the nerves. The tone make someone feels like they are in an open, friendly place with nothing to fear.

"Clair de Lune" is more Dionysian than Apollonian. The song has no distinctive rhythm yet is not chaotic. It seems like something that he was doing for fun. He is free on his piano and appears to do just what come up in his head when lonely. One will engage in a slow movement is the first part, then a more vigorous free movement in the second and go back to slow movements in the last part.

In impression, have more freedom in the way they are played. They aim at making someone express their feeling and emotions (Byrnside, 1980). For example, "Clair de Lune" rhythm is soft at first; it goes wild after some second and then o back to being calm at last. While in ‘movement in music, one has to use a particular structure and style while composing a song.

Both in impression and 'movement in song' , they are accompanied with some emotions. The listener cannot avoid becoming emotional with the song. For example, "Clair de Lune" feels like a lonely person at first who decide to enjoy in the second part and the lonely feeling come back at the end. One cannot avoid moving with the song and can guess what the composer was feeling. Songs aim at passing a particular message or making people happy.
