The church of God must fight to hold on the truth. The Christian boundaries have been broken, and there are no models for this generation. A lot of confusion has crept in and the falsehood is finding its way easily in the pulpits. The aspect of religious pluralism is interesting and proposers of that subject should not be given any audience at all. Christ Himself mentioned that He is the way, the only way, truth, and life. Thus, it cannot be that all religions will lead to salvation and the old traditional view that Christ is the savior should be firmly held, because indeed He is.
Even for Christians who are not cognizant of the power of God in their lives through the Lord Jesus are finding it a challenge to walk in this journey. Christ should be central in our lives. Paul said that He is crucified with Him, and the life he now lives is not his since Christ is living inside him. Therefore, it is challenging for the other religions who have neglected the place of Christ in their lives to uphold the righteous standards expected of them, because they are neglecting the God of power.

In terms of technological advances, one practice that is threatening the fundamentals of Christianity is the use of phones to replace the bible. The phone has many distractions Vis a Vis having your hardcopy bible. Unfortunately, pastors in the church have taken the lead in using their phones and gadgets in the pulpit. The church is exposed to many temptations while using their phones like to explore their social media, to reply to messages and popups, and many more. Another challenge for the Christian is the fear to condemn sin. As much as Christ loved all, He hated sin and He still does so today. Christ could associate with sinners, but He will not leave them in that same state. Therefore, same sex marriages should be condemned and with the wisdom of God, they should not be made to feel comfortable in the church. Pastors cannot be in that place where they are ready to unite same sex marriages. It is Christians to change the world, not the other way round.
In conclusion, we are in a mission in this globe and with the sole purpose of glorifying God in our lives. That is the biggest task we need to stick to instead of being bothered about non-essentials. We should also beware of the adversary who will want to distract us, so that we cannot know God, love Him the way we should or challenge this world through our holy living. We should be busy spreading the good news that Jesus is ready to save the lost world, and He is committed to this mission of that cost Him His life. God does not change with the 21st century; He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is we to change and go back to the old Christian religion.
