However, I am mostly attracted to my math teacher who always ensures that all learners grasp a concept of any topic. As a result, he made me like mathematics. At the same time, he motivated me to aspire to be a math teacher. Therefore, this paper focuses on my SMART goal to be a math teacher.
I want to become a math teacher by 9 th January 2017. I adore the profession a lot and I am passionate to achieve my goal within time. Even though there may be challenges on the way, am determined to stay positive and focus on the ultimate goal. I believe that I will be able to attain all the requirements that a person needs to become a math teacher. In addition, I would like to teach in one of the established schools in the country and to ensure that my students enjoy and pass mathematics.

However, to achieve my dream, I will have to work hard in school and to keenly follow the instruction given by my tutors. First, I need to attain the best grades in mathematics, which will require constant revisions and study on a daily basis. I will be consulting my mathematics tutor whenever I face some difficulties while studying. In addition, I also have to pass other subjects in order to get the best overall grade that will enable to pursue my goal of becoming a math teacher. Consequently, I will be forced to work extremely hard in class and pay attention to all subjects. Excelling in math alone will not help me achieve my dream of becoming a math teacher. Hence, I need to get above average marks in all subjects to pass to pursue education course in mathematics in the college.
To perfect my mathematics teaching skills, I will start by teaching my friends and siblings on some of the difficulties that they face while doing or revising math. At the same time, I will engage in teaching practice in schools during college holidays in order to gain enough skills and experience in mathematics. I believe that getting enough math teaching skills and experience will enhance my chances of landing on established schools in the country. In addition, teaching experience will enable me to deliver the right content and concepts to my math students. Besides, experience and skills will give me a competitive advantage in the job market, which is crowded due to many people pursuing education profession in colleges and universities.
Therefore, 9 th January 2017 will find me when I have successfully completed my educational course in mathematics. At the same time, I will find when I have acquired the right knowledge, skills, and experience that are required of a math teacher. In addition, I would have searched and found a teaching job in established school within the country by 9 th January 2017. I believe that I will have enough strength and support to withstand all the challenges that can prevent me from achieving my goal. The support I will receive from my parents, teacher, especially math teacher, and colleagues in school will enable me to achieve my goal of becoming a math teacher.
