This article talks about the complexity of modern policing and how police training should be improved to match it. The author advises that the training should not only focus on training the perishable skills such as arrest and control, but also focus on psychological skills such as cognitive, emotional, and moral skills to improve their relationship with the community.

This article talks about the debate on how police training has affected the attitude of police recruitment. By examining the Los Angeles Police Department recruit training class the article establishes that the police do not perceive their role as to only involve themselves in crime attacks and law enforcement.

This article analyzes a study on police training and its relation to procedural justice. In conducting research, this article concludes that cultural training reduces the effects of procedural justice on unthinking and hard compliance.

This article explains their importance of police training and its impact on preventing avoidable deaths. The author is not in support of defunding police training but supports the increase in its effectiveness. The article also tries to justify the use of police force, blaming it on anger and frustration.

This article supports police defunding and it provides six reasons to justify this.
