One of the most surprising things about the Holy Spirit’s movement is it spreads with power and might from a sacred point to an unholy one and cleanses it. Most importantly, those affected by the Holy Spirit are rejuvenated and made new beings, regardless of their initial unclean state. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit moves to places that do not have life and awaken souls so that they are made alive again and worthy of God's grace. Most importantly, they are accepted to preach the gospel and be co-heirs to God's kingdom with those that are viewed as clean or righteous. In the vision that peter receives in chapter 10, for example, those who are with him when Cornelius invites him receive their holy spirit, even though some are gentiles. His initial vision of being instructed on all types of unclean animals, even though the law prohibits shows that the Holy Spirit cleanses all those who believe in God, even though they are rejected (Bible Project, 2015)

Holiness has a direct relationship to the Holy Spirit because through its impact, one is made clean and can stand in God's presence. Most importantly, when one receives the Holy Spirit, they are transformed. This makes them better understand that even though God is not associated with sin, the holy spirit can clear one of their sins and make them holy, putting them in a better position to relate with God. This is because Sinfulness draws one far from God.

In living today, the Holy Spirit’s movement and its direct influence on holiness impact our lives by making us yearn to seek God regardless of our sinful nature. When Jesus touched those deemed unclean, the holy spirit made them clean and asked to be ambassadors of the gospel ( Bible Project, 2015) . Equally, the same impact is realized when we seek to have fellowship with God by accepting the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us.
