Violent media allows children to learn how to control their rage. Violent outbursts in children will have serious consequences if not handled properly. The parents are not in constant contact with their children due to their demanding work schedules. They have no time to teach their children how to master their emotions. The violent media enlightens the children on how to handle their feelings. Many children pass through hard emotional disturbances, such as depression, anxiety, rejection, and loneliness. Some of the violent media programs educate children on how to manage these emotional states. The kids will follow the example of the character that went through the same experience. Since the character succeeded in managing rage, the kid is convinced that following the ways the character used in overcoming the emotional state will work for them. In this way, the violent media helps the kids to design their own ways of overcoming rage. The kids will make better decisions since their mental health and wellbeing will be improved through exposure to violent media.

Violent media helps children to develop confidence. Many people have attributed their failure to fear. They failed to make it in certain areas because they were afraid of trying out something new. Though it has been argued that violent media results in aggression among kids, it is also a fact that it has enabled children to overcome fear. Through watching movies like the hulk, the fear factor in children will be transformed into a source of inspiration. The kids are encouraged that it is only by trying out what they are afraid of that will enable them to realize what they are good at. They are assured that doing what their heroes did in the movies or games will guarantee them success. The violent media empowers the children to understand that the best way to overcome your fears is to face them with courage. Violent media will develop their inner strength to give a try to what they perceive as impossible.
