Presentation Script
Good morning people of Utah. It is a great honor to be with you today delivering a speech about gun control in Utah. We are all aware that gun control has been a controversial issue around the world. Some individuals support the presence of guns among the people, forgetting the harm it can cause. Yes, it is a right for the people to own guns for their security, but it cannot be done at the expense of gun violence, with our women suffering from domestic abuse and homicide, and our youth being killed mercilessly. Hopefully, the presentation will cover the importance of gun control in Utah.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
First I would like to talk about illegal weapons in Utah. Research indicates that deaths related to firearms have increased by 85 % from 2006 to 2015. That creates concern calling for the authority to implement some laws related to possession of guns to save our people. The second thing I will cover is how the weapons are availed to the people due to the drugs and gangs problem. There are large-scale family members who own guns and gangs which supply the firearms to the people. The last thing I will talk about is how factors such as poor policing related to availability of guns in Utah streets. Despite Utah having some of the best libraries, the education levels are relatively low. The young people fear that failing the exams may affect their lives. That makes most of them turn to crime and being recruited in the street gangs.
As I conclude my presentation, it is clear that large-scale families and gangs do not care whether a person is qualified to own a firearm or not. Some people may not be stable mentally and use the weapons for mass murder. Gun control will not deny people the right to own guns, but it will be done using various regulations, which will promote the safety of the people. Thank you for your attention.
