The context of this passage
This passage shows that Jesus revealed himself to his disciples. He wanted them to eat together as he asked them to bring some of the fish they caught, and there was bread. This showed that Jesus did not only care about their souls but their bodies as well (Willmington,2018). By this, the disciples furnished the part of the meal which they were to eat. The disciples and Jesus coming together and eating together showed love.
What do you think the disciples were thinking throughout their experience with Jesus?
The disciples were amazed by everything that happened. It is said that they had toiled overnight and could not find any fish; at Jesus word, they cast their net and really had a big catch. They were able to know that it was Jesus (Willmington, 2018). The disciples were thinking of why Jesus had chosen to visit them and not anybody else. This would have made them feel special as Jesus even invited them to eat together with him. Jesus loved and cared about them.

Why do you think Jesus met them?
Jesus had seen the disciples’ efforts though they had not been able to catch any fish. Jesus wanted to reward their efforts. In this Jesus saw that they could also be perfect in drawing people back to him, He wanted to make them fishers of men, look after other people as Jesus had looked after them (Kim, 2017).
What does the passage mean to you?
It means that there is a need to have faith in everything and never to give up at all costs. Jesus loves and cares about his children and can never fore sake them at all costs. It also means that Christians should love one another as Jesus loves them.
